Manuela Schoesser, the founder and head baker, was born and raised in the southwestern part of Germany in the world renowned Black Forest. Due to it’s proximity to Switzerland and France (therefore called the “Three Country Corner”), many of the German recipes have a touch of these other cultures or originated from these neighboring countries.

Manuela fondly remembers her visits to all three countries for a shopping trip, all within a few hours, in order to buy the best products that each country had to offer. It is this magical blend of culture that makes these products the very best and a delight to the most discerning tastebuds. Since Austria also borders the east side of Germany, many of the recipes are similar in the southwestern part of Germany as well.
